Dräger recommends using a cleaning pen suitable for thermal
printers or a lint-free cloth with isopropanol cleaner for cleaning the
printer.
To clean the printer:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Open the paper cover and remove the paper, if present.
3. Apply the cleaning pen/cloth from the center to the edges on the
print head.
4. Remove paper dust from the black mark sensor using a cleaning
pen/cloth.
5. Insert paper and close the paper cover.
Do not use the printer for one to two minutes after cleaning the print
head until the cleaning agent in the cleaning pen/cloth has completely
evaporated and dried.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
The cleaning agent contained in the cleaning pen/cloth can cause a
short circuit.
► Turn off the printer before cleaning it.
WARNING
Risk of burns!
The print head can get very hot whilst the printer is in operation.
► After turning off the printer, wait two to three minutes before
cleaning the print head.
NOTICE
Risk of damaging the device!
Static electricity can damage the print head.
► Do not touch the area around the print head, which may be warm,
with your fingers whilst cleaning.
