For this, allow a plumb bob to hang from a height of
10 m to the ground.
Set up the laser in the vertical position, and adjust to
point operation. Direct the laser beam at the upper
end of the plumb bob rope.
Guide the beam from the upper to the bottom end of
the plumb bob rope.
Check the deviation of the beam at the lower end of
the plumb bob rope. If the deviation is more than
2 mm, the tool must be sent to a Würth after-sales
service agent for adjusting.

Working Instructions

Laser Viewing Glasses (Accessory)
The laser viewing glasses filter out the ambient light.
As a result, the red light of the laser appears brighter
to the eye.
The laser viewing glasses are not protective glasses
against laser radiation. Do not use them as protec-
tive glasses against strong sun light or in traffic.
Working Examples
Projecting Horizontal Heights/Points
C
Place the unit in the horizontal position on a firm
base or use a tripod.
Working with a tripod: Adjust the laser beam to the
desired height. Select rotation operation or transfer
the height by hand in point operation by turning the
rotation head 1.
Working without a tripod: Determine the height dif-
ference between the laser beam and the height line
at the reference point with the aid of the measuring
plate, turn the rotation head 1 to the target location
and transfer the measured height difference.
Parallel Alignment
D
In case right angles are to be indicated or partitions
are to be aligned, the laser beam is to be aligned
parallel, i. e. equidistant to a reference line (e. g.
wall, expansion joint).
For this purpose, place the unit in the vertical positi-
on and align so that the beam runs approximately
parallel to the reference line.
For the exact positioning, measure directly at the unit
the distance between the laser beam and the wall with
the measuring plate. Then at the longest distance pos-
sible away from the unit, measure the distance again
between the laser beam and the wall. Adjust the laser
beam with the aid of the right 20 or left 21 direction
buttons so that it has the same distance to the wall as
that measured directly at the unit.
Marking Right Angles
D
If right angles are to be marked, the laser beam is to
be aligned in the vertical position parallel to the re-
ference line (tile edge, wall). The right angle is indi-
cated by the deflected variable laser beam.
Marking Plumb Lines
E
Place the unit in the vertical position, e. g., in front
of a wall and aim the laser point/laser line at the lo-
cation on which the vertical is to be indicated/mar-
ked. Select line or rotation operation and indica-
te/mark the vertical.
Drywalls and Partitions
F
Attach the guide adapter 23 to the laser and positi-
on the laser at the first alignment point.
If the wall mount 28 is mounted to a floor rail,
the laser must be adjusted to the edge of the
rail ("0" mark).
Position the beam at the opposing alignment point
using the up 8/down 7 arrow buttons.
Go to the opposing alignment point and bring the
laser beam into alignment with the mark using the
remote control.
Mount the floor rail or mark the run of the rail for
further rail assemblies both on the floor as well as on
the ceiling.
Drop Ceiling
G
Determine and mark the final height of the ceiling
and fasten the wall mount 28 at this height.
Fasten the guide adapter 23 to the laser and insert
the laser with the guide adapter 23 into the wall
mount. Lock the rail with help of the lock lever 22.
Loosen the lock lever 22 for adjustment of the height,
slide the laser onto the zero mark (0) of the scale 25
(height of the wall bracket) and tighten the lock le-
ver 22 again.
To prevent the laser from accidentally falling
down, guide a ceiling wire through one of the
fastening holes and attach it.
Projecting a Floor Point to the Ceiling
(Plumb)
For exact alignment of the plumb beam (laser) over
the floor point, plumb notches are located at the low-
er edge of the housing. For this purpose, mark two
right-angle lines (crosshairs) through the floor point
and align the unit with the plumb notches.
The laser source is located directly over the horizon-
tals and at the height of the vertical tripod connec-
tion.
