Marking Inclines
For the marking of an incline, the automatic levelling
must be switched off with the aid of the remote con-
trol (accessory) (see Switching Off the Automatic
Levelling). The unit can then be placed in any in-
clined position.
For the marking of an inclined line, e. g. on a wall,
align the laser beam by means of a object placed
under one side or by adjusting the tripod (accessory)
parallel to the desired incline.
Within the self-levelling range of 8 %, the inclination
can also be adjusted with the arrow buttons of the
remote control (accessory).

on Operation

Switching Off the Auto-
matic Levelling).
Summary of the Unit Indications
Set up the laser using a tripod and properly align the
laser in the desired direction (A).
Fasten the receiver to a stadia rod and determine the
height of the laser (B).
Use this height as reference when checking
the laser alignment after adjusting the inclina-
tion in the other axis.
Without changing the height of the receiver, set the
stadia rod onto the direction rod of the inclination
axis (C) for alignment of the inclination.
Press and hold the up 8/down 7 arrow button until
the receiver is positioned "at the height" of the laser
beam.
Check the height of the laser in the self-levelling axis
again, using the height of the tool.
Note: When the height of the tool has changed, turn
the laser on the tripod until the receiver indicates that
it is back "on height" with the laser beam. Take care
that the height of the receiver at the stadia rod is not
changed.
