• Select your desired toasting level depending on the type and
freshness of your bread by pushing the browning control
button. The selected level will appear on the screen.
1-2: very lightly toasted
3-4: medium browning
5-6: browning
• Press the bread-loading lever down.This locks in the low position
and the holding slots automatically center the slices of bread
between the heating elements for perfect toasting of both sides.
Once the toasting cycle is engaged the remaining toasting time
appears on the screen.
The toaster will automatically adjust cycle length to
accommodate any heat remaining in the toasting chamber
from a previous toasting cycle.
Any bread extending out of the slots will not be toasted.
The toaster must be plugged in for the to stay down.
• When toasting raisin bread or tea-cakes, remove any loose
raisins from the bread before placing them in the toaster. Loose
raisins may fall into the appliance and create a fire hazard.
• It is advisable to reduce the browning level if you are toasting
only slice.
• Regularly remove crumbs from the crumb tray. To open the
crumb tray, press on it once. Press back in again to close.
• When toasting is complete, the bread lever will unlock and the
toasted slices of bread will pop up.
• The toasting cycle may be interrupted at any time by pressing
the Cancel/Stop button.
• The digital screen is automatically deactivated after approximately
10 minutes. By pressing any button or the bread loading lever, the
digital screen will turn on.
• To remove small slices of bread after the toasting cycle is
complete, put the bread lever in the high position and press the
Hi-lift lever.
