To turn the safety on:
• Press and hold the "Cancel/Stop" button until the word "SEC"
appears on the digital display.
• The toaster will be completely disabled : all functions will be
locked and inoperable.
To turn the safety off:
• Just press and hold the "Cancel/Stop" button again for a few
seconds until the "SEC" symbol disappears from the display.
• Clean your toaster regularly.
• Before any maintenance, unplug the appliance and leave the
toaster to cool down completely.
• Remove the crumb tray and discard the crumbs.
• Never insert a metal object inside the toaster as this is
dangerous and likely to cause serious damage.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance and the cord with a damp
cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Do not use abrasive or scouring cleaning products. Do not use
bleach.
• Do not wind the cord around the body of the appliance. There
is a cord storage area underneath the appliance.
• To move the toaster, a carrying handle is located at the back of
the appliance.
• Always let your appliance cool down completely prior to
storing, especially in a tightly enclosed space ; heat may
damage any type of flammable material.
The packaging box may be recycled, but it may also be
useful for returning the appliance to an authorized Service
Dealer if necessary (see enclosed leaflet).
