Washing and care instructions
Juzo ScarPad Cleaning Soap, which is supplied with
the product, is a cleaning agent for silicone patches.
1. Apply a few drops of the Juzo ScarPad Cleaning
Soap to the silicone sheet (Fig. 6). Thoroughly clean
the silicone sheet.
2. Rinse the sheet under warm, running water (Fig. 7).
3. When the silicone sheet comes in contact with
water, it rolls up (Fig. 8). The adhesive properties
are completely lost.
4. To dry the (rolled-up) silicone sheet, place it on
a dry cloth, with the adhesive side up. When the
silicone sheet has dried completely, it unrolls again
and its adhesive properties are restored. Only ever
use the silicone sheet when it's dry.

Materials used

100 % pure medical grade silicone, elastic layer (80 %
polyamide, 20 % spandex), protective backing.
Storage information and shelf life
Store at room temperature in a dry place and protect
from direct sunlight. Standard products have a max-
imum shelf life of 36 months. The shelf life is printed
on the box with an hourglass symbol. Juzo ScarPad
Light small and Juzo ScarPad Light are intended to be
used for two to four weeks, based on their medical
effectiveness. For Juzo ScarPad Extra and Juzo
ScarPad Strong, a usage period of four to eight weeks
is intended. This period depends on correct handling
and normal use of the products.
Indications
Damage to the skin and healing function of the skin
with development of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
After injuries / burns / surgery, Treatment of scars in
combination with compression garment.
Contraindications
Do not use this product on open wounds or with torn
skin. Do not use on irritated skin. Do not use in case
of a known intolerance to the component (ultra-pure
silicone). If skin intolerances occur during use, please
stop using the silicone sheet and consult your doctor.
Liability for failure to comply with these contraindica-
tions cannot be accepted by SCARPRO N.V..

Side effects

There are no known side effects when this product
is used correctly. However, if you notice any adverse
changes (e.g. irritation of the skin) during the pre-
scribed use, please consult your doctor or medical re-
tailer immediately. If you know that you are intolerant
to one or more of the product's components, please
consult your doctor before using the product. If your
symptoms worsen during the time you are wearing the
product, please consult your doctor immediately. The
manufacturer does not accept any liability for damage/
injuries resulting from improper use or misuse.
In the event of complaints related to this product, such
as damage to the sheet, please contact the medical
retailer directly. Only serious incidents that may lead
to a major deterioration in the patient's health or to
death should be reported to the manufacturer and
the relevant authority in the Member State. Serious
incidents are defined in Article 2 (65) of Regulation
(EU) 2017/745 (MDR).
Disposal
You can dispose of your silicone sheet in the usual
way. There are no specific disposal instructions.
