Battery and charger (fig. II)
Charging the battery
The battery must be charged for 24 hours before the
first start-up and when it has not been in use for a
longer period of time to achieve full capacity.
To remove the battery [6] from the device, fully

push the two release buttons [5].
Plug the power plug into the socket and the
■
charging plug into the socket of the charger.
3 The charging process starts as soon as the bat-
tery [6] is set in the charging cradle. The battery
warms up during charging. This is a normal
process.
Indications
The charger is equipped with a red and a green LED
indicating the charging state:
Green LED illuminated:
■
3 Charger is ready to operate. The battery is fully
charged.
Red LED illuminated:
■
3 The charging process is activated. The battery is
being charged.
Red and green LED flash in turn:
■
3 Temperature fault; battery is too hot and cannot
be charged.
• Remove the battery and allow it to cool
down.
Red and green LED flash simultaneously:
■
3 charging not possible; battery defective.
• Replace battery.
Battery charging state / maintenance
indication
The indication [4] on the device allows to monitor
the battery charging state and indicates if mainte-
nance is needed.
It illuminates in red if the battery needs to be
■
charged.
It flashes in red if the device must be sent to
■
Würth master service for maintenance.
Gas cartridge (fig. III)
Inserting the gas cartridge
Warning
Remove the batter from the device
before inserting the gas cartridge.
Actuate the unlocking mechanism as

shown in the figure and fold up the cover of the
intake slot [2].
Insert the gas cartridge with the valve head

facing the intake slot.
Close the cover [2].

Warning
Small amounts of combustible gas
may escape when the gas cartridge is
inserted.
Do not breath in gas, do not smoke. Keep it away
from naked flames or sparks.
If the smell of gas remains perceptible, remove the
gas cartridge immediately and identify the cause.
Note
The gas cartridge is not emptied com-
pletely. There is always a small amount
of residual gas (pressure gas) in the
gas cartridge.
Loading the magazine (fig. IV)
You can insert up to four magazine strips with 10
pins each in the magazine.
Insert the magazine strip [15] as shown in the
■
figure.
Draw the follower [11] to the stop and back
■
again until it is in contact with the magazine
strips [15].
To remove the magazine strip pull back the
■
follower [11]. Actuate the release lever [12]
and draw back the follower [11]. Actuate
the locking mechanism [16] and remove the
magazine strip.
Eliminating the blockages
Remove the battery and the gas cartridge.
■
Remove the magazine strip.
■
Open the magazine lock [8] and remove the
■
magazine.
Eliminate the blockage.
■
Then insert the magazine.
■
Lock the magazine lock [8].
