Troubleshooting

Note:
If the errors cannot be rectified using one of the listed remedies, the CrossLiner 4 must be exam-
ined by an authorised customer service agent or by NEDO.

Laser lines hardly visible

Cause
Unit outside the self-levelling
range
Inadequate power supply
No power supply
Compensator is locked
Laser exit window for plumb
beam is concealed.

Remedy
Realign the CrossLiner 4
within the self-levelling range
of 3° ; if necessary use the
adjustable tripod.
Charge battery set according
to specifications (see chapter
6 Power supply)
Charge battery set according

Release compensator
Adjust the threaded slide on
the base of the unit so that
the laser exit window is not
concealed.
