WARNING
The function of the non-contact detection of cable breaks is not suitable for
the detection of hazardous mains voltage.
CAUTION
Before touching conducting parts, it is first necessary to check for the ab-
sence of dangerous voltage using direct, two-pole contact measurement
with different instruments.

Automatic switch-off

If the instrument was inactive for longer than 3 minutes, it switches itself off automatically.

Replacing the battery

Remove the test lead before opening the battery compartment. Open the battery com-
partment to replace the batteries. Remove the screws using a suitable screwdriver.
When inserting the batteries, ensure that the polarity is correct. Carefully close and lock
the battery compartment with the screws.
