Removing the battery (see figure A)
To remove the battery 12 press the unlocking buttons 5 and
pull out the battery downwards. Do not exert any force.
Battery Charge-control Indication
The three green LEDs of the battery charge-control indicator 8
indicate the charge condition of the battery 12.
Press the On/Off switch 7 halfway or completely through to
indicate the charge condition.
LED
Continuous lighting 3 x green
Continuous lighting 2 x green
Continuous lighting 1 x green
Flashing light 1 x green
When no LED lights up after pressing the On/Off switch 7, the
battery is defective and must be replaced.
Replacing/Inserting the Saw Blade
 Before any work on the power tool, remove
the battery.
 When mounting the saw blade, wear protec-
tive gloves. Danger of injury when touching the saw
blade.
 When changing the saw blade, take care that
the saw blade holder is free of material resi-
due, e. g. wood or metal shavings.
Selecting a Saw Blade
Use only saw blades suitable for the material being worked.
Use only ½" universal shank saw blades. The saw blade
should not be longer than required for the intended cut.
Use a thin saw blade for narrow curve cuts.
Inserting the Saw Blade (see figure B)
Turn the locking sleeve 3 approx. 90° in the direction of the
arrow and hold. Push the saw blade 1 into the saw blade
holder 13. Release the locking sleeve 3 again.
 Check the tight seating of the saw blade. A
loose saw blade can fall out and lead to injuries.
For certain work, the saw blade 1 can also be turned through
180° (with the teeth pointed upwards) and re-inserted again.
Removing the Saw Blade (see figure C)
Turn the locking sleeve 3 approx. 90° in the direction of the
arrow and hold. Remove the saw blade 1.
Dust from materials such as lead-containing coatings, some
wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful to one's
health. Touching or breathing-in the dust can cause allergic
reactions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the user or
bystanders.
Certain dust, such as oak or beech dust, is considered carci-
nogenic, especially in connection with wood-treatment addi-
tives (chromate, wood preservative). Materials containing
asbestos may only be worked by specialists.

Dust can easily ignite.

Inserting the battery

 Use only original Würth lithium-ion batteries
with the voltage listed on the nameplate of
your power tool. Using other batteries can lead to
injuries and pose a fire hazard.
Push the lock-off button 6 leftward to protect the power tool
against accidental switching on.
Insert the charged battery 12 into the handle until it can be
felt to engage and faces flush against the handle.
Switching On and Off (see figure D)
Push the lock-off button 6 rightward.
To switch on the power tool, press the On/Off switch 7 and
keep it pressed.
The power light 11 lights up when the On/Off switch 7 is
slightly or completely pressed, and allows the work area to be
illuminated when lighting conditions are insufficient.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off switch 7.
Afterwards, push the lock-off button 6 leftward again.
To save energy, only switch the power tool on when using it.
