Sawing at 45°x 0°
Loosen the lock for rotating the saw table 25 and turn
the rotating saw table left or right until the indicator
points at 45° or any of the preset positions (15°, 22°,
30°, 45°).
If sawing with a non-preset angle is required, loosen
the lock for rotating the saw table 25 and afterwards
press knob 26 inward. This releases the rotating saw
table and allows for exact adjustment of the desired
angle. Lock the rotating saw table with the locking
screws 27.
Sawing at 45°x 45°
Loosen the lock for rotating the saw table 25 and turn
the rotating saw table left to its automatic detent at
45°. Loosen lever 28 and tilt the head piece to the
stop at 45° or to the desired smaller angle, then lock
again in this position.
The machine allows for the head to be tilted in all left-
ward rotating saw table positions.
Make sure that the tilting arm is secured in its position
when performing the angle cut.
SPECIAL SAWING APPLICATIONS,
200 x 45 mm
When the machine is set to the 0° x 0° position, the
maximum cutting size is 200 x 45 mm. For this, the
table extensions (optional accessory) have to be
mounted to the bottom part of the machine. Sawing
can be performed now.
SERIAL SAWING OF WORKPIECES
For serial sawing of workpieces, mount the length stop
29 to the desired size and lock it in place.
Sawing on the Top Table
Only wood and plastic can be sawn on
the top table, not aluminium or profiles.
Mount the bottom cover 30 to the machine.
Mount the right side of the cover first, then the left side
of the cover. Connect both parts with the locking brack-
ets 31.
Then, lock the machine in the transport position with
lever 2 and check if the cover is properly seated and
does not move.
Loosen the lever for locking the handle 4 and push
down the handle to the bottom position. Loosen locking
screw 32, remove the upper aluminium profile which
includes the protection device for the saw blade and
use it as the lateral sawing guide (fence) by mounting
it at the desired clearance to the saw blade.
This protection device accommodates a groove with
two nuts 33 on the side for fastening a wooden lath,
which reaches to the vertical axis of the saw blade cen-
tre.
Mounting the wooden lath is recommended especially
when sawing short workpieces (wood blocks and
pegs), as otherwise the sawn off workpieces could be
thrown from the machine in an uncontrolled manner.
Loosen the levers for locking the table 6 and raise the
table to the desired sawing height using the table
height adjustment 34. Pay attention that the saw blade
protrudes the material being sawn only in the range of
the saw teeth.
Tighten the levers for locking the table 6 at the selected
height. Lock the lock button 21 in the position for saw-
ing with the upper table.
After the sawing, mount the aluminium profile back to
its previous position before continuing to use the
machine for chop sawing.
Never work with the upper table without first having
mounted the bottom protective cover.
Never work without the upper protection device
and use it correctly.
Use the push stick 35 for safe feeding of the work-
piece to the saw blade and through the cut. When
the push stick is not being used, fasten it to the pro-
vided fixtures on the side of the upper table.
Make sure that the tilting arm is secured in its posi-
tion when working with the upper table.

Dust Extraction

Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one’'s health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are consid-
ered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with
wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood preserva-
tive). Materials containing asbestos may only be
worked on by specialists.
•• Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
•• It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respira-
tor.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials being worked on.
