Adjusting the Bevel-Angle (see Figure B)
The bevel angle can be adjusted between 0° and 45°.
– Loosen the locking screw 2.
– Adjust the bevel-angle by tilting the machine toward
the base plate. The angle is indicated on the scale 19.
– Tighten the locking screw 2 again.
Mounting/Adjusting
the Parallel Guide

blade.
– Tighten the locking screw 1 again.
Replacing/
Adjusting the Saw Blade
Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
Do not use abrasive wheels as the application
tool.
Only use saw blades the maximum permitted
speed of which is equal or higher than the spec-
ified no-load speed.
Changing the Saw Blade
(see Figures D, E, F)

Dust/Chip Extraction
Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing
coatings, some wood types, minerals and metal
can be harmful to one's health. Touching or
breathing-in the dusts can cause allergic reac-
tions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the
user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are con-
sidered as carcinogenic, especially in connection
with wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood
preservative). Materials containing asbestos may
only be worked by specialists.
- Provide for good ventilation of the working
place.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class res-
pirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country
for the materials to be worked.
Sawdust Ejection
Clean the sawdust ejector 8 regularly. Use a suitable
tool (e. g. piece of wood, compressed air, etc.) to
clean clogged chip ejector.
Keep fingers out of sawdust ejector 8.
External Dust Extraction
The sawdust ejector 8 fits to the connector with the
Art. No. 0702 400 042. For other diameters, an ex-
traction adapter must be used.
