TROUBLESHOOTING

If you are unable to rectify any faults yourself, contact your local retailer or Tetra
Customer Service.
Malfunction
Filter head is not
watertight, water
is leaking.
Motor not
working.
Water flow
reduced.
Water not
circulating.

DISPOSAL

The device contains electronic components and cannot be disposed of
with the standard household waste.
• Dispose of the device using the return system for your area so that the raw
materials can be recycled.
• Cut off the connection cable prior to disposal to prevent the device from
being used.

Cause
Attachment clips open.
Dirt, foreign particles.
Filter head seal faulty.
Power supply off.
Impeller faulty, blocked.
Valve closed.
Bent hoses.
Filter, filter media or tube
system dirty.
Leak or system drawing
air.
Not enough water in filter
housing.
Air pocket in filter.
Leak.
Solution
Close them.
Clean.
Clean or replace, if necess.
Check.
Clean or replace, if necess.
Open.
Re-position.
Clean or replace, if necess.
Stop leak or place intake
pipe below water level.
Press start button several
times (pumping motion).
Increase distance between
filter & water level.
Stop leak.
