Always unplug the machine from the mains before
storing
To save space when storing the lawnmower, fold
down the top handlebar
Store the machine in a dry place inaccessible to
children and unauthorised persons
Repair
Repair work may only be carried out by AL-KO
service centres and authorised specialist work-
shops
To prevent any imbalance, only replace cutters and
fastening pins as a set
Maintenance and care
Important – Danger of injury!
Always unplug from the mains before any mainte-
nance and preventive maintenance work.
Always wear work gloves when carrying out
maintenance and preventive maintenance work
on the cutting blade.
Unbalanced cutting blades cause strong vibra-
tions and damage the mower.
Check the grass catcher regularly correct operation
and wear
After mowing the lawn, clean the machine thor-
oughly with a hand brush or cloth. Contamination
on the underside of the machine can impair the
function of the machine if not removed
Do not spray the machine with water. The start
switch and the electric motor can be irreparably
damaged if water gets into them.
Check the cutting blade regularly for damage. Only
have blunt or damaged cutting blades sharpened/
replaced by an AL-KO service centre or authorised
specialist company. Resharpened cutting blades
must be balanced.
Tightening torque of the blade screw 15 Nm +5.

Important!
The blades and motor shaft must not be aligned.
After maintenance work on insulated parts
(e.g. replacement of the cutting blade), an
insulation protection check must be carried out in
accordance with VDE Directive 701.
Professional inspection is required:
after running into an obstacle
if the motor stops suddenly
if the cutting blade is bent
if the motor shaft is bent
