2 Product Description
ACO grease separators are made of polyethylene or stainless steel. Features of polyethylene
are a light structure and a long service life. Stainless steel has a low fire load and a high
level of temperature stability.

2.1 Operation Principle

Grease separators operate physically in accordance with the principle of gravity. The
different densities of fat/oil and waste water are used to separate them. The specific density
of animal and vegetable fats/oils is lower than that of water, so they rise to the surface.
Waste water components with a higher density than water, such as sludge, sink to the
bottom of the sludge trap.

2.2 Modular Extension System

The modular extension system makes it possible to reduce unpleasant smells during the
disposal and cleaning processes. The higher the extension stage, the lower will be the risk
of infection, the degree of pollution and the time needed to empty and clean the grease
separator.
