Names and functions of each part

This is a 1/4" phone input jack.

Preamp section
This controls the tone of the guitar. Details for each section are as follows.
 AMP SELECTION: This knob lets you select from eleven types of preamp mod-
els. For details, refer to the section describing the various amps.
 GAIN: This control knob adjusts the gain. The range of adjustment will depend
on the AMP SELECTION setting.
 Equalizer: These are the tone control knobs for the levels (BASS, MIDDLE,
TREBLE) of the three-band equalizer. The adjustable range and the function will
differ according to the AMP SELECTION setting.
Bank section

To save a sound you created, hold down the switch of the desired save-destination
channel for three seconds or longer. Details are described below.
 MANUAL switch: This switch selects manual mode, where all tone controls are
"what-you-see-is-what-you get".
 Channels (1-4): These buttons choose one of four channels in which you can
store your own settings.
* As an alternative to selecting these from the front panel, you can connect the
optional IFS2M(sold separately) foot controller and switch channels.
E-Tuner

This is a simple tuner for your guitar's E string. Click the E-Tuner button. E-Tuner
mode is activated and FX or DELAY&REVERB function will be bypassed in this
mode. The illustrations below show the tuner LED motion as it operates.

The left side LED's indicate the pitch
is flat from E.
The middle three LED's simultane-
ously lit indicates in tune.
The right side LED's indicate the
pitch is sharp from E.
FX Section

Total 14 kinds of effects in 4 banks are available.
 SELECT knob: There are 4 FXs in each effect bank. You can select a parameter
in each FXs within their range. An "FX bank" table below shows details about
what you can select.
 MIX knob: You can control effect mix level, sensitivity or a sort of parameters as
showed in the FX bank table. When the MIX knob turned to all the way to the left,
effect is off.
* You can also switch the FX on/off by optional IFS2M(sold separately) foot con-
troller.
 TAP switch: This controls the modulation speed when a modulation type effect is
selected. The FX bank table shows when the TAP switch is active. When other
effects with inactive TAP feature is selected, the TAP switch is just lit.
* For details on TAP, refer to "TAP switch".
 FX bank access switch: FX bank select mode is activated by holding down this
switch more than 3 seconds.
 FX bank select switch: After above operation, you can select FX set from bank 1
to bank 4.
