4.3 Regulations on the pre-milling unit
It is not necessary to make any previous adjustments to the
pre-milling unit since it is already adjusted at the factory.
However, and in accordance with the thickness of the edge
chosen to perform the edgebanding, it is necessary to place
the appropriate supplement for each thickness of the edge on
the rule. The supplement this being retained due to a mag-
netic fixation.
The edgebander is supplied with 3 inserts that are marked
with the working thickness: (Fig. 4.9)

• The rule marked 0 mm will be used in those cases where it is
desired to repeat the edgebanding without losing the original
measurement of the panel.
4.3.1 Adjustment of cutters of the pre-milling unit
With the adjustments and regulations made in the factory,
the edgebander provides perfectly rectified and edgebanded
panels, without discontinuities in the finishing edge or de-
fects or visible cracks in the melamine layer.
However, if for any reason any defect is observed, then please
proceed to the adjustment of the cutters as shown in (Fig.
4.9). This way you will correct the possible defects.
