3.7 Assembly/installation
Installation to the chimney (Fig. 7)
1. Test-mount the insert first without making a hole in the
chimney. See Fig. 1 for distances to firewall.
2. The insert may be installed with a Ø200 mm flue pipe of
approved thickness.
3. Place the insert into its final position. Secure the flue pipe in
the insert's smoke outlet using gasket rope.
NB: It is important that the joints are completely sealed. Air
leakage may cause malfunction.
3.8 Checking the functions (Fig. 8)
Check the control handles once the insert is in place. These should
move easily and work in a satisfactory manner.

4.0 Servicing
Warning! Any unauthorised changes to the product are illegal!
Only original spare parts may be used!
4.1 Replacing the burn plates (Fig. 9)
1. Lift up the log retainer (A) and then take it out.
2. Remove the side burn plates (B) by lifting them slightly and
pulling out. If they are difficult to remove, use a screwdriver
to draw them up.
3. Then lift the back burn plate out (C).
4. Check that the insulation is in place before putting the burn
plates into place.
5. Begin with the back burn plate. Then put the side burn plates
into place. Lift them slightly using the knobs at the bottom
of the plates so that they are locked into place by the edges
in the base of the insert.
4.2 Removing/assembling the door
The door must be opened before it can be removed.
1. Tap out the hinge pins and pull out the door.
2. When assembling the door, any washers under the lowest
hinge pins must be put into place.

(Fig. 11)
1. Remove the door, lower cover and burn plates. (See separate

2. Half unscrew the screws (A) in the lower front edge of the
burn chamber and pull the washers out completely towards
the screw head.
3. Loosen the screws (B) in the upper front edge of the burn
chamber. These screws have washers and nuts on the inside.
Hold the front so that it does not fall forward when loosening
the last screw.
4. Lift the front off.
5. Assemble the front by placing it on the two screws that are
half-screwed in (A) in step 2. The screws fit into the slots in
the front.
