The VSky H3970 enclosure includes four 1200W power supplies located on the back on the
device. In order to access the BIOS Setup Utility for initial configuration it is necessary to connect
the power supplies.* However it is not necessary to power on the system yet. Access to the
BIOS Setup Utility is provided using the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) management
interface. Once these initial BIOS settings are in place, you can power on the system and install
the operating system and then the drivers for the HBA card, RAID controller and other hardware
drivers and software utilities according to the requirements of the operating system installed.

* The BMC management interface only requires one power supply be connected to function. However,
before you power on the server, make sure you connect all power supplies.
