The box containing the VSky H3970 should include the items listed below according
to the version that is shipped.
35-35 RAID / 1-70 RAID / 35-35 HBA (non-RAID) / 70-70 HBA (non-RAID)
• VSky H3970 enclosure including CPU, memory, two 2.5" SSD system drives, and
HBA card.
• Seventy 3.5" Hard Disk Drives, each secured to a disk tray and ready for insertion
into the VSky H3970 enclosure. This is packaged separately from the VSky H3970
unit.
• Four power cords (one cord for each power supply)
When you are ready to begin the installation procedure, carefully remove the
enclosure from the shipping container. But do not remove the HDDs in the trays from
the packaging until you are ready to insert them into the enclosure. It is necessary to
remove the chassis cover before you can begin inserting hard disk drives in the trays.
Follow the instructions in Task 2 to remove the chassis cover and insert the HDD trays.
