The BIOS Setup Utility ifor the motherboard s embedded in the flash ROM, so you can run it
with or without the operating system.
After you power on the machine, it will go through the following steps:
1. Enter the BIOS of motherboard and display information on the screen.
You will be prompted to press the <Del> key to enter the BIOS Utility. Ignore this prompt,
wait for the machine to initialize the device.
2. After a few seconds, it will enter the BIOS for the HDD controller automatically and display
information on the screen.
You can either press <Ctrl>+H to enter the BIOS Utility of the HDD controller in this step or
do nothing and skip this step.
3. The machine will reset automatically and enter the BIOS of motherboard again. BIOS
information is displayed on the screen.
Now you can press <Del> key for entering BIOS Utility.
If you need to begin again from the start, just press the Reset button on the motherboard (see
illustration on next page) and wait for the controller boot up to begin again.
When the BIOS Setup Utility for the motherboard appears (see next page), continue to change
the BMC network settings, Boot Sequence and SATA Configuration as described in the pages that
follow.
