Important :
- Ferromagnetic transformers must be charged to more than
60% of their rated power.
- Allow for the efficiency of ferromagnetic transformers when
calculating the permissible power (e.g. transformer for a 50-
W lamp with 0.78 efficiency => actual power consumed by
the transformer = 64 VA).
