Fire Extingushers
Use only dry potholders. Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may cause
burns from steam. Do not use a towel or other bulky cloth in place of potholders.
Wear proper apparel Loose fitting or hanging garments should never be worn
while using the appliance.
Allow to cool before cleaning. Switch off the appliance.
Do not use a steam jet cleaner to clean the drawer. There is a risk of short circuiting.
Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended
in this manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified technician.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, e.g. cracks in the heating plate.
Contact service.
Use an extinguisher only if:
You know you have a Class ABC extinguisher, and you already know how to

operate it.
The fire is small and contained in the area where it started.

The fire department is being called.

You can fight the fire with your back to an exit.
