2. Place a cup on the grid under the metal cup. Make sure that the rotary knob is in the neutral (horizontal)
position "OFF".
3. Plug the appliance into power outlet and switch it on with the on / off button. The on / off button is
constantly lit, the other buttons flash.
4. Wait until all buttons light up continuously. Press the button for two coffees and let the hot water flow out
until the appliance automatically stops the water flow.
Note: The machine might be noisy for about the first 20 seconds due to water being pumped into the system.
Note: Use the same procedure for preheating the coffee.
Cleaning the nozzle.
Warning: During the generation of hot water or steam, a lever with filter must always be placed in the
brew head.
1. Press the on / off button to switch on the machine and wait for the machine to preheat (the icons are
continuously lit).
2. Place a suitably deep water container under the nozzle to catch the steam. The nozzle should sufficiently
immersed in the container. Carefully, the steam is hot.
3. Once the buttons stop flashing, turn the rotary knob to the "steam / hot water" position.
4. Let the water flow out of the nozzle for about 1 minute. Then turn the knob into neutral position.
The coffee maker machine is ready to be used.
2) NORMAL USE PROCEDURE.
Check, if there is water in the water tank before each use. Do not exceed the "MAX" line.
Preheating - When using ground coffee or ESE pods
To make a cup of good hot Espresso coffee, we recommend preheating the appliance, including the holder,
filter and cup, so that the taste of the coffee is not affected by the cold parts.
Put the lever with filter WITHOUT COFFEE in the machine under the symbol „LOCK" so that the tabs

„CLOSE" position.

Making Espresso - when using ground coffee or ESE pods
1. Remove the preheated metal cup from the brew head by turning it clockwise. Keep the preheated strainer
in the metal cup. Use one or two coffee scoops depending on the size of the filter. Use a tamper to tamp
down the coffee. Make sure that the edges of the metal cup that fit into the brewing head are clean. Or use
an ESE filter for portioned coffee.
2. Then insert the lever with filter into the appliance under the "LOCK" mark so that the tabs in the metal cup
fit into the brew head. Secure everything by turning the lever counterclockwise in the „CLOSE" position.
3. Once the buttons stop flashing, press the appropriate button depending on whether you want one or two
servings of coffee and wait until the coffee starts to flow.
Note: When using apportioned coffee (ESE) or capsules, we recommend choosing only one serving of coffee.
4. As soon as the required amount of coffee is ready (in the case of 2 cups, approx. 60 ml), the coffee machine
stops automatically. Your coffee is ready.
