Fixing problems
Stop using the tool immediately if any of the following problems should occur. Any repair or replacement must be performed by a
trained person or an authorized service centre.

2.5 mm, or nut (44-1) is loose.
Maintenance
When the tractive force of the air riveter decreases, oil ISO
VG46 or DEXRON III should be added. The following steps
should be taken:
1. Turn the tool upside down, remove the rubber plug and
unscrew the cylinder cover (part 1) by means of the Beta
round pin wrench for ring nuts, item 100 (round pins Ø 4.9
mm), or a similar tool.
2. Remove the air piston (part 7), gripping the nut.
3. Fill with oil to the marked level of the packing (16).
Reassemble the air piston (7); press up and down a couple
of times. Remove the air piston and check the oil level. Add
some more oil, if need be, and repeat the procedure until
the oil level indicated in the device is reached.
4. Lubricate the entire area of the O-rings that are connected
to each other with Mobilgrease XHP 222 or a similar
product.
5. Screw in the cylinder cover (1).
Correction
Increase working pressure to 5.9÷6.6 bars.
Replace part 76.
O-rings must be replaced.
Screws must be tightened.
Reinstall and tighten pipe.
Air exhaust pipe (20) must be cleaned or replaced.
Increase working pressure to 5.9÷6.6 bars.
Adjust distance between 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm.
