9. Close off the orifice on the opposite side
of the high-pressure relief valve with the
hexagon bolt (item 8).
10. Secure the high-pressure rail in the holder
again and re-connect (see Fig. 1).

11. Connect PVC hose (item 11) to the hose
manifold and route it to the test oil tank via
the recesses on the EPS cover.

3. Software configuration
3.1 Installing the system software

Minimum requirement for the system software
for 180 MPa extension set: Version  2.2.

Instructions on installing the system
software are available in the EPS945-PE/
VE/CR program description (order number:
1 689 979 859), chapter 14.1 "Installation of
KMA system software EPS945".
3.2 Updating the firmware

Instructions on updating the firmware are
available in the EPS945-PE/VE/CR program

chapter 14.2 "Firmware update".
3.3 Configuring the software
Procedure
1. In the system software, select softkey <F7>
in the "main menu" dialog box.
2. Enter password:
confirm.

The "Configuration" dialog box will
appear.
3. Call item "Test mode" in the "System"
menu by pressing <F12>.

The "Test type" dialog box will
appear.
4. In the "Maximum rail pressure setting"
field, select 180 MPa.
5. Confirm selection with <F12>.
6. Confirm security prompt with <F4>.
7. Confirm selection with <F12>.
8. Exit the "Configuration" dialog box by
pressing Esc.

The system will initialize the
connected devices.
