Safety precautions
• WARNING: do not install heating element kit when the unit is
configured with lateral air outlets or octopus.
• Heating element kit can only be installed if the unit is configured
with a front air outlet. Maximum external static pressure is shown
in table 2.
• Read this instruction manual thoroughly before using the
heating element kit and keep it for further consultation even after
installation.
• This kit complies with low voltage (EEC/73/23), electromagnetic
compatibility (EEC/89/336) Directive.
• The installation must be carried out by a qualified installer.
• For safety reasons, installers are required to read the general
information carefully.
• Follow all the instructions below to ensure safety.
• Inspect the kit for damage due to improper transport. Do not
install or use damaged equipment.
• To prevent fire, explosion or injury, do not operate the unit
with kit near dangerous substances or close to naked light
equipment.
• Check that voltage and frequency of the mains power supply are
those required for the kit to be installed; the available power must
be adequate to operate any other appliances connected to the
same line.
• Make sure that properly sized disconnecting and safety switches
are installed.
Installation
• Disconnect the product from the mains power supply prior to installing
the kit.
• Loosen the fixing screws (fig. 1) and remove the outlet flange (ref.H).
• Fix the electric heater to the unit outlet using the screws removed
previously (fig. 2 a-b).
• Remove the indicated area from the electric box (fig. 2 a-b).
• Place the relay inside the electric box and fix it using the screw (fig.
3).
• Make electric connections as shown in the circuit diagram and in
fig.3.
- Connect the blue cable (ref. Y) in the electric box to contact A1 of
relay coil (ref. A).
- Connect the orange cable (ref. X) of contact A2 of the relay coil (ref.
B) to terminal "H" of the 6 pole terminal block (ref. F).
- Connect the red cable of the thermostat (ref. K) to terminal L of the
power terminal block (ref. E).

protection devices;
- unusual smell (such as smell of burning).
- Connect the black cable of the thermostat (ref. G) to contact 11 of
the relay (ref. C).
- Connect the blue cable of the electric heaters (ref. J) to terminal N
of the power terminal block (ref. E).
- Connect the black cable of the electric heaters (ref. I) to contact 14
of the relay (ref. D).
• When connections are all made, use the cable clamp (ref. Z) to fix the
cables from the electric heaters as shown in fig. 3.
• Make the electrical connection to the mains electricity supply using
the cable indicated in Table 1 and according to the circuit diagram .
• Make certain that the connection to the mains electricity supply is
made via an omnipolar switch with opening of contacts of at least
