Operation
Requirements for safe use
– You have read the chapter "For your own
safety" on page 32 and have understood
all the safety instructions.
– The appliance has been installed and
connected as described in the chapter
"Start-up" on page 47.
Using the appliance for the
first time
NOTE
Risk of damage!
If the refrigerator was transported
in a horizontal position, lubricant
from the compressor may have
entered the refrigerator circuit.
Wherever possible, do not tilt
■
the refrigerator into a horizontal
position.
Before putting it into operation,
■
allow the refrigerator to stand
upright for 2 hours. This gives
the lubricant enough time to flow
back into the compressor.
The appliance is factory-set to switch
on automatically as soon as you plug
the power plug into the socket for the
first time.
• Switch on the fuse for the socket to
which the appliance is connected. A
signal tone sounds, and the refrigerator
compartment lighting (7) lights up when
the door is open.

Adjust
• Press and hold the Adjust button (1) for 5
seconds.
A signal tone will sound and the
refrigerator compartment lighting (7) will
light up. The appliance is switched on.
If the appliance makes disturbing
noises after being switched on, make
sure it is stable and fitted correctly.

2. Clear out and clean the appliance as
