Note: When the flash is charging the LED flashes red.
Anti-shake
If your pictures are blurry, turn on the anti-shake function to reduce any vibrations to the camera when taking
photos.
1. Press the Menu button [8].
2. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select 'Anti-shake'.
3. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm.
4. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select 'On' or 'Off'.
5. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm. The following icons will appear on the LCD screen:
Photo resolution
1. When the camera is turned on, press the Menu button [8].
2. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select 'Resolution'.
3. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm.
4. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select one of the following resolution modes:
5M – high resolution. Takes pictures of 2592 x 1944 pixels.
3M – medium resolution. Takes pictures of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
2M – low resolution. Takes pictures of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
VGA – very low resolution. Takes pictures of 640 x 480 pixels.
5. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm.
Note : The higher the resolution, the fewer pictures the camera's memory card can store. Look at the bottom,
right-hand corner of the screen to see how many pictures you can take at the current resolution.
Power frequency
A higher frequency increases the camera shutter speed so the effect of light fluctuations from sources such as
florescent lamps are reduced.
1. Press the Menu button [8].
2. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select 'Frequency'.
3. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm.
4. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select '50Hz' or '60Hz'.
5. Press the Shutter button [11] to confirm.
1. When the camera is turned on, press the Menu button [8].
2. Press the Shutter button [11] to select 'Mode'.
3. Use the Left and Right buttons [9 and 7] to select 'AVI'.
4. Press the Shutter button [11] to select the mode. The Video mode icon
5. Press the Shutter button [11] to start recording. The recording length is displayed on the screen.
6. Use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons [4 and 3] to zoom in or out of the video.
7. Press the Shutter button [11] to stop recording.
Note:
• To exit the Video mode, either turn the camera off and then on again using the Power button [12], or follow the
instructions in the 'Changing Modes' section.
