Saving the live image as a file
Press the button e briefly to save the current camera image as a file on the inserted
SD card and to show it as a still image on the screen. You can also change the magnifi-

cation factor for this image as already described. You can use the arrow keys h + j to
move the magnified image section vertically and arrow keys k + l to move it horizon-
tally. Press the Photo button again to return to the live image display.
Deactivating/activating autofocus
Press and hold the button u to deactivate the autofocus function. This can be help-
ful, for example while writing under the device, so that the focus remains on the reading
material. Press the button again to reactivate autofocus. Autofocus is automatically
reactivated when the device is turned off.
The remaining description of the menu can be found under Quick Guide, the first menu
item on the device. Press the MENU button y to open the menu.
USB port
You can use the supplied USB cable to connect the device from its USB connection d to
the USB connection on another device, e.g. a computer. The SD card inserted in the de-
vice will then be displayed on the computer as the „ESCHENBACH" drive for file
operations.
Reset
If the device no longer functions as described in these instructions, it may be due to a
malfunction, which you can eliminate yourself by resetting the device. Then press the
RESET button f.
