Explanation of the individual programmable settings
1. Driving mode:
With "Racing" mode, the model can drive forward and brake. Reverse
gear is deactivated. This mode is intended for the competition.
"Normal" mode also offers the reverse function, which is suitable for
beginners and normal rides.
Note: "Normal" mode uses the "Double-Click" method to let the car
reverse.
When you move the accelerator stick over the neutral point for the
first time into the reverse/brake range, the car brakes. Move the
throttle stick a second time into the reverse/brake range and the
model will reverse.
2. Selection of LiPo cells:
If LiPo batteries are frequently used with the same number of cells,
we strongly recommend setting this item manually to avoid incor-
rect calculation.
(For example, the ESC can detect a 3S LiPo that is not fully charged
as a fully charged 2S LiPo), which can cause the low voltage cut-off
protection to not function optimally.
3. Undervoltage safety shutdown:
This function protects your LiPo batteries from excessive discharge.
When using LiPo batteries, please use the appropriate value for the
undervoltage protection. The speed controller monitors the voltage
of the battery at all times.
4. Speed controller thermal insulation:
Selection option not available!
5. Motor thermal insulation:
Selection point cannot be changed.
6. Direction of motor rotation:
The speed controller offers you the possibility to select the direction
of rotation of the motor.
CCW clockwise
CW counterclockwise

Reset to factory settings

You can restore the factory settings at any time (not in program-
ming mode) by leaving the throttle in neutral (in normal driving
mode). Press and hold the SET button for more than 3 seconds.
7. BEC voltage:
Selection of the BEC voltage.
Selection 6.0 V - for use with conventional servos
Selection 7.4 V - for use with high voltage servos
8. Setting Maximum braking force:
The speed controller is equipped with a proportional braking func-
tion. The braking force is transferred to the vehicle depending on
the position of the throttle/brake lever. The maximum braking force
refers to the force when the throttle is applied at the upper point
(full braking) of the reverse/brake range. A very high braking force
shortens the braking distance. Also damages gearbox and drive.
9. Reverse drive setting:
Determines how much current is applied when reversing. The higher
the value, the faster the reversing.
10. Acceleration (also called "punch"):
Select a value. "Level 1 (Soft)" to "Level 5 (Very aggressive)". Please
note that when selecting from "Level 3" to "Level 5", only driving bat-
teries with good quality and high power output are used. Otherwise,
the desired power development cannot be called up. If the motor
does not start smoothly (motor stutters), this usually indicates a drive
battery with low power output. In this case, select a battery with
higher power output or change the gear ratio.
11. Engine brake:
Adjust the efficiency of the motor brake at neutral position. This
simulates the braking effect of a neutral brush motor while the
vehicle is rolling.
The red and green LEDs will flash simultaneously. This confirms
that all values have been reset to factory settings.
