3 PUTTING THE BLOOD-PRESSURE MONITOR INTO OPERATION
3.1. Inserting the batteries
Insert the batteries. (pic.2)
1. Remove the battery cover from the battery compartment.
2. Insert four AA powerful batteries into the compartment and ensure each bat-
tery is in the proper direction.
3. Replace the battery cover.
ATTENTION !
• After the battery warning symbol"
the batteries have been replaced.
• Please use "AA"Long-Life 1.5 V batteries.
• Never leave any low battery in the battery compartment since they may
leak and cause damage to the unit.
• If the blood-pressure monitor is left unused for long periods, please remove
the batteries from the device.
3.2 Clock and date adjustment
1. Once you install the battery or turn off the monitor, it will enter Clock mode,
and LCD will display time and date.
2. While the monitor is in Clock Mode, press the O/I and MEM button simultane-
ously for 2 seconds, the month will blink at first ( pic. 3). Press MEM button
to set the month. Keep on pressing the button MEM, the number will increase
fast.

Press the button O/I to confirm and to pass setting the day.
4.
Repeat the instruction above to set hour and minutes .
5.
The monitor will turn off automatically after 1 minute of no operation with
the time and date unchanged.
6.
Once you change the batteries, you should readjust the time and date.
