Adjusting the blades
Cutting effectiveness may be lost over time due to an increased distance between the blades and the grid. Below, we
described how to solve this problem by adjusting the distance between the blades and the grid to leave them at the
optimal distance. To carry out this operation, the machine must be clean. Protective gloves must be worn during the
adjustment process.
First, press the ON/OFF switches on the machine to turn it off.
1
Then disconnect it from the electricity supply by unplugging
it. IMPORTANT: The machine must be stopped and
disconnected before manipulating it.
Then check with a caliper or other measuring instrument if the
3
distance between the grid and the blades is greater than 2 mm. In
that case, you must adjust the blades to 2 mm to increase cutting
efficiency.
Loosen the set screw of the shaft with the help of Allen key No.
5
3 (O), so that it exerts less pressure on the shaft, without losing
contact, as shown in the following image. IMPORTANT: The
machine must be stopped and disconnected to manipulate
it.
To lower the blades, screw in the central screw, and to raise them
7
unscrew it until the desired height is obtained.
Loosen the two retaining knobs (G) that fix the container to the
2
body of the machine. Then disconnect the motor cable of the
container from the power input located on the side of the machine
body. Remove the container.
Open the four latches on the grid and remove it to gain access to
4
the blades.

Replace the grid on the upper part, fastening it with the four
6
latches. Adjust the height of the blades and the shaft, inserting
Allen key No. 3 (O) into the central screw of the shaft through the
hole in the grid.
Check that the distance between the blades and the grid is as
8
desired. IMPORTANT: Leave a minimum safety distance of 2
mm between the grid and the blades.
