Measurement conditions

Range of coverage
The range is limited to 30 meters. At dusk, in the night, or when
the target is in the shadows, the range increases even without
the use of a target board. Use a target board during daylight or
when the target has poor reflective properties.
Target surfaces
Measurement errors are possible if you measure against colour-
less liquids (e.g. water), dust-free glass, polystyrene or similar
semi-transparent surfaces. For targets that reflect very well, the
laser beam can be deflected and measurement errors can oc-
cur. For non-reflective and dark surfaces, the measurement
time can increase.
Care
Do not immerse the device in water. Wipe dirt off with a soft,
damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning products or sol-
vents. Handle the device with the same care as you would a
telescope or a camera.
