Precautions
1. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
4.WARNING: Do not use this appliance near water. Do not use this appliance
near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
5. Do not leave appliance unattended while it is operating or is plugged in.
6. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do
not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
7. Keep the cord away from hot or heated surfaces.
8. Never use while drowsy.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any opening as this may cause an
electrical hazard.
10. Unit is hot when in use. To avoid burn hazard, do not let heated surface
touch bare skin.
11. Do not place the heated unit directly on any surface while it is hot still
plugged in. Use the built-in stand provided.
Special Attention: Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating
around the heating coils. When plugged in and operating for the first time,
there may be a little momentary smoking while this coating is initially heated.
This represents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in your
