2. Place the drip grid 14 on the drip
tray 12 so that the small round hole is
over the float 11.

Inserting/replacing the
filter
Your espresso machine comes with two fil-
ters:
Filter for single
espresso 2
Observe the following markings when in-
serting:
-
Both filters 1/2 have a notch 21 in the
upper edge and a nub 20 underneath.
The filter 2 has a second nub on the op-
posite side so that it does not fall out of
the portafilter 19.

There is a notch 18 in the edge of the
portafilter 19.
1. Select the desired filter 1 or 2.

2. Insert the filter 1/2 in an inclined man-
ner into the portafilter 19 so that the
notch 21 and the notch 18 are on top
of each other. Press the filter down and
turn it a little in the portafilter so that it
cannot fall out.

NOTE: as the filter 1 has only one nub 20,
it can also be inserted straight into the por-
tafilter 19.
To remove the filter 1/2 from the portafil-
ter 19, turn the filter such that the two notch-
es 21 and 18 are on top of each other again.
The filter can be removed in this position.

Inserting/removing the
portafilter
Inserting:
1. Insert the portafilter 19 with the handle
at the symbol
2. Turn the handle of the portafilter 19 to
the right as far as the symbol
