Short Pipe
Coupling Nut
1. Install The Supply Stop
Sweat solder the bushing to the short end of the right-angle tube.
Wrap thread sealant tape around all male pipe threads.
Thread the short pipe into the fixture water supply. Tighten with
a clean strap wrench.
Thread and tighten the outlet end of the ell onto the short pipe.
Thread and tighten the bushing and tube into the inlet end of the
ell.
Thread and tighten the inlet end of the body onto the long pipe.
Thread the long pipe into the water supply fitting. Tighten with a
clean strap wrench.
Place and properly seat the union into the outlet end of the body.
Slide the coupling nut over the long end of the right-angle tube.
Insert the long end of the tube over the union in the outlet end of
the body.
Thread and hand tighten the coupling nut onto the outlet end of
the body.
If necessary, move the right-angle tube or ell to align all piping
and fittings. Tighten the coupling nut on the body with an
adjustable wrench.
Make certain that all pipes and fittings between the water supply
and the fixture are securely tightened.
