9. Sole of the Foot – Reflex Zones – Massage
The NOVAFON® instrument is also ideally suited to foot massage. Due to the
depth reached by the sonic waves, the massage effect is more powerful and
longer lasting than one achieved using conventional massage equipment or
done by hand. The massage is possible using the sonic plate as well as the sonic
ball. During treatment using the sonic plate, all the reflex zones are covered
by employing the apparatus not only to the soles of the feet, but also to the
sides and bridge of the foot. Owing to the specific effect of the intra-waves, a
massage lasting approximately 2 to 4 minutes per foot achieves the optimum
effect. One feels rejuvenated just like after a refreshing shower. Treatment of
individual zones is done using the sonic ball or the magnetic probe. With these
attachments, specifically chosen zones can be worked on, for example, those
connected with parts of the body such as the shoulder, or organs like the liver.
Due to the intensity of vibration, a massage carried out using the NOVAFON®
instrument is not only more effective but also much less strenuous than one
'done by hand' .

10. Warranty

The appliance comes complete with a 2 year guarantee which commences on
the date of transfer. The proof of purchase (i.e. receipt, bill, letter of consign-
ment, delivery documentation etc.,) exhibits this transfer date. This should be
kept in a safe place. Should you have any cause for complaint, please contact
your supplier. Initially, any right of exchange, reduction or subsequent supply
is excluded. You do however reserve the statutory right to claim a reduction
(discount in price) or a cancellation of sale (withdrawal from purchase) should
we establish a defect covered under the warranty which cannot be rectified
within a reasonable period of time. Any attempt to tamper with the instrument
will render the warranty null and void. Furthermore, great care must be taken
when using the sound wave therapeutic instrument not to extend the power
cable beyond the maximum length of 1.5 metres. Anything over and above this
prescribed length requires an extension lead, as otherwise there is the risk of
damage thus rendering the warranty invalid.

11. Customer Service

As the NOVAFON® instrument is a finely adjusted and precise instrument, it
may only be repaired by a trained member of the NOVAFON® customer service
department. However, in general, repair is more costly than buying a new inst-
rument. Therefore, please do not return any faulty appliances to us unsolicited,
but rather discuss the defect and the cost of repair with us first. If, while still
under guarantee, repair is no longer cost effective, the NOVAFON® Company
will offer you a replacement (once again with a 24 month warranty). Please
do not dispose of the instrument in your domestic waste. The NOVAFON®
Company will gladly accept the return of obsolete instruments.
