Determine the appropriate height for your
latch based upon local codes (Fig. 1).
2.
While holding latch in position at desired
height on the gate post install (2) #10x1
screws on bottom "A" bracket (Fig. 2).
3.
Slide upper "A" bracket up as much as
possible or until aprox ¼" under the post
cap and install (2) #10x1 screws (Fig. 3).
4.
Remove latch assembly completely by
unscrewing adjustment screw and then
gently lifting on the latch assembly which
should slide off the "A" and "B" brackets
(Fig. 4).
5.
Install (5) #10x1 screws into the exposed
mounting holes on the two "A" brackets
and the one "B" bracket (Fig. 5).
