2. Application and Function
A hydro pneumatic jack is a device to lift a vehicle for accessibility during repair and
maintenance.
A jack is only a lifting device and should never be used for transporting and/or loading a
vehicle.
Moving the jack with load is prohibited.
Do not misuse the jack.
Please observe the product safety information!
3. Inspection – Scope of Delivery
Open the packing and check the equipment for transport damage and that all parts specified
in the shipping documents are at hand. Before using the equipment conduct a visual inspec-
tion in order to determine leakages, damages, loose or missing parts.

4. Assembly
1.
Take the device including the individual parts out of the packaging.
2.
First loosen the hexagonal screw SW10 and the spring washer attached to the side of
the lower lever (Fig.02).
3.
Connect upper and lower levers. Ensure that the internal guides are aligned.
4.
Now connect the two outer guide rods for positioning the handle.
5.
Insert the hexagonal screw and the spring washer (see point 2) and bolt them together.
In this way the two handle ends are fi xed.
6.
Now loosen the screw attached at the back, SW17 at the lever support (Fig.04).
7.
Insert the complete handle into the opening of the lever support. Observe the correct po-
sitioning (pin of the lever in the recess of the lever support). If this does not immediately
engage properly, then carefully operate the upper knob until the inner pin of the lever
slides into the recess of the lever support (Fig. 03 / Fig. 10).
8.
Now tighten the screw fi rst mentioned in point 6. The lever is fi xed in the support.
9.
Place the valve with the attached spring in the designated bracket at the lever (Fig. 05).

10.
Remove the transport lock screw and instead screw the bleeder plug in place (please
keep the transport lock screw to use again in case of later transport) (Fig 06 / Fig. 07).
11.
The supplied adapter support can be attached to the lever in any position by means of
the supplied brackets. The adapters are secured by means of the supplied split pins
(Fig. 08).
12.
Screw a nipple G1/4" suitable for your coupling system (not supplied) into the valve (Fig.
09) and connect with your air supply line.
5. Implementation and Operation
Generally the safety guidelines are to be observed when working with the equipment.
After connecting the jack to the air supply (please observe the safety precautions for
connecting to the compressed air feed) position the jack with the lifting cylinder under the
lifting points of the vehicle.
Please note that for moving the jack is equipped with only two wheels.
Operate the valve (Fig. 09) to take the pump into operation.
The maximum lifting capacity of the jack is reached with operating pressure of 10 bar.
Press the trigger (turn the hand wheel clockwise to close, Fig. 10) the load is lifted to the
desired level (secure with support trestles).
When reaching the maximum lifting height of the jack no further compressed air should be
supplied to the pump (this can lead to higher wear and tear of the components).
The integrated overload safety device (relief valve) ensures that the lifted load never
exceeds the capacity of the jack.
To lower the load turn the hand wheel SLOWLY counter-clockwise (Fig. 10).
Pull the interlocking lever (Fig. 10) upward. Adjust the lever in the desired position and
release the interlocking lever again. You can lock the lever in 3 different positions.
Retract the piston during periods of non-use.
6. Maintenance
All moving parts must be lubricated in regular intervals with commercial multi-purpose
grease. Keep the equipment always clean and protect from aggressive chemicals. Do not
leave the equipment outdoors.
Retract the piston during periods of non-use.
A complete oil change is not necessary!
Please check the oil level at least once annually and refi ll, if necessary. Fill the cylinder
with hydraulic oil up to the lower edge of the oil inlet plug. Please note that the piston must
be retracted.
Important: Too much oil can shut down the equipment.
Only use hydraulic oil (type HLP ISO 32) approved by the manufacturer. Please note:
Never use brake fl uid.
Maintenance and repair of the equipment only by technical maintenance staff.
6.1 Air in the Hydraulic System
Hydraulics can accumulate air in the system, which impairs the performance of the jack. To
eliminate the air, please proceed as follows.
1.
Open the hand wheel counter-clockwise (Fig. 10).
2.
Operate the valve (Fig. 5) and let the pump run for approx. 10 seconds, and close the
hand wheel slowly clockwise during the last 3 seconds.

6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

Clean the air fi lter (Fig. 12) occasionally with a suitable fl uid and blow it afterwards dry.
Ensure that impurities and smaller particles are removed.
7. Disposal
The disposal of this equipment must follow the legislation of the respective country.
All damaged, badly worn or improperly functioning devices MUST BE TAKEN OUT OF
OPERATION.
Repair only by technical maintenance staff.
Use the equipment only for its intended use as described above, any other use
is expressly excluded! We are not responsible for injuries and damage due to
inappropriate use and misuse and/or noncompliance of safety precautions; this is
not covered by the warranty.
