Before switching on the power
tool
Unpack the metal band saw and check
that no parts are missing or damaged.
Compare the mains voltage with the
specifications on the rating plate (5).
Assembling the metal band saw:
 Place dovetail guide (9) in the uppermost
position.
 Insert saw into the dovetail guide.
 Tighten wing nut (11) to secure the saw.
 Fold saw down.

Transport and installation

 Lift the machine onto the machine
table (17).
or
 Insert locking pin (13) into the opening
on the swivel support (12) and raise
the power tool on the saw frame (6).
