NOTE! Parts that are not called out in the illustrations are components that are already on the engine; you must
reuse these parts when installing the tall riser kit.

A. 4.3L carbureted engines ONLY! Exchange exhaust plug and check valve. Torque to 30 ft. lb. (40 Nm).
B. 4.3–5.7 liter engines ONLY! Welded exhaust baffles must be present.
C. 4.3–5.7 liter engines ONLY! Ensure that exhaust bypass plug is installed.
