1. Press the [POWER] button to switch on. The binoculars will be activated in the "Latitude/Longi-
tude Display Mode".
2. Press the [MODE] button once, and the mode will change to the "Date/Time Mode."
3. Press the [MODE] button and the [SAVE] button simultaneously once, and the mode will
change to the "Auto-timer Difference Adjustment" screen and the numerical value will blink ap-
proximately for 30 seconds.
4. Press the [SAVE] button while blinking to select the time difference. In the case of Germany for
example, adjust the time difference at "+1" because the time zone is 1 hour ahead of the Univer-
sal Time.
5. After the setting is done, press the [MODE] button and the [SAVE] button simultaneously for
more than approximately fi ve seconds. "COMPLT" will be displayed and then the mode will auto-
matically return to the "Date/Time mode" in two seconds with the time difference adjusted.

• if batteries have been removed, the date and time will not be
displayed until the GPS signal is detected.
• in a place where the GPS signal is not detected for some time,
the date and time may not be displayed accurately.
• if adjustment in time difference falls, "ERR" will be displayed.
In that case, repeat the operation from Procedure 3 after the
mode automatically returns to the "Date/Time Mode" in ap-
proximately three seconds.
The GPS Binoculars can record positional data of fi ve places.
1. Press the POWER button to switch on. The binoculars will be
activated in the "Latitude / Longitude" mode.
2. Upon display of the current position after receiving the GPS
signal, press the MODE button and the SAVE button simultane-
ously for more than approximately 3 seconds.
3. Once "COMPLT" is displayed after the latitude / longitude
display blinks, the position registration is fi nished. The screen
will automatically return to the "Latitude / Longitude" mode in
approximately 2 seconds.
• it is recommended to log the recorded positional data.
• if the positional data fails to be stored, "ERR" will be displayed.
In that case, repeat the operation from Procedure 2 after the
mode automatically returns to the "Latitude / Longitude" mode
in approximately three seconds.
• The GPS Binoculars can record up to fi ve positions. Please note
that any attempt to record more than fi ve positions will be reject-
ed with a "FULL" Indication displayed. If you wish to record a new
position, you need to delete all the previously recorded data and
start recording from the beginning. The recorded data cannot be
deleted individually and, hence, you may need to transcribe the
recorded positions in a notebook as needed.
