assemble frame and base
Pull knob outward away from base
and slide base onto frame.
TURN THE FRAME OVER AND
INSTALL CARRIER TO HITCH.
The hole in the hitch must align to
the hole in the carrier.
install hitch lock
Push the core all the way into the housing.
Hold the core with the tip of your thumb as you
pull out the gold Control Key.

Knob should snap back in when
base and frame are aligned.
Install the QuickHitch (purchased separately), and continue at STEP 7.
(The QuickHitch is a convenient no-tools hitch bolt.)
INSERT hitch bolt and
washer from RIGHT TO LEFT.
TIGHTEN with
7/8" wrench.
Attach hitch
lock housing.
The lock
should remain
in the housing.
Insert bolt, two washers and nut, in order shown.
Tighten with two 9/16" wrenches.
Remove the
protective cap from
the lock housing.
Lock the hitch
lock with the
silver-toned keys.
In some cases,
the lock housing
will not work.
Use the safety
clip instead.
Insert the gold-toned Control
Key into the lock core, and
install lock into the lock
housing.
SECURE hitch bolt
with safety clip.
