10. Assembly cross-cut fence
NOTE:
There are 2 positions possible for
mounting the cross-cut fence on the outrigger
table: (V) for front position and (H) for rear
position.
Depending on the type of work fix the
cross-cut fence at the desired position on
the outrigger table (front (V) or rear (H)
position) with the pivot screw (2).
Insert the thread for the star screw (3) into
the guide (4) of the outrigger table.
By means of the scale (5) you can set the
cross-cut fence at any angle to the saw-
blade.
After adjusting the cross-cut fence, retight-
en the star screw (3).
10.1. Assembly fine adjustment cross-cut
fence
By means of the wing screw (6), loosen the
slot stone so far until it can be inserted into
the T-slot (7) on the cross-cut fence.
For fixation tighten the wing screw (6)
again.
11. Assembly riving knife
The riving knife is dimensioned so that it is
thicker than the saw blade in its width. This
prevents the teeth on the rear circumference
of the saw blade from touching the workpiece
and causing unintentional damage or ejection.
Place the two inner clamping plates (1), the
riving knife (2), the outer clamping plate
(3) and the spring washer (4) on the thread
of the screw.
Then tighten the nut (5) (tightening torque
30Nm).
NOTE:
The distance between the saw blade
and the riving knife must be within 3-8mm.
Then tighten the screw (4) (tightening
torque 30Nm).
NOTE:
This procedure should be repeated
each time the saw blade is replaced.
