During each use, always verify:

The correct placement of the cable inside the device;

Pay attention using iced or dirty cables and any foreign body which might
prevent the good working of the locking cam on the cable.

Check the legibility of the product markings.

It is essential for safety that the device is always correctly positioned and that the work
is carried out so as to minimize the risk of fall and fall height.

The weight of the user, including his equipment must not exceed 120 kg.

The user will ensure that he is kept safe before detaching the glider.

Only full body harness (EN 361) can be used in a fall arrest system.

The FALL SAFE® S-Line Vertix should not be used as a work positioning system.

Any repairs to the equipment can only be carried out by FALL SAFE® or by a
competent person authorized by FALL SAFE®.

The FALL SAFE® S-Line Vertix should be withdrawn from use immediately if:

Any doubt arise about its condition for safe use or;

It have been used to arrest a fall and not used again until confirmed in writing
by a competent person that it is acceptable to do.

For the installation of a rigid anchor line (EN 353-1) in ladder, the minimum resistance
of the ladder`s rung is 1,5kN.

Prohibited use

Only one user working at height, but without the support of a second person able to provide
assistance if needed.
• More than 1 person attached to the guided type fall arrester including a rigid anchor line
simultaneously.
• An obstacle under the walk way which reduces the clearance specified on the manufacturer's
label
• Deposits of ice on the cable and the anchors.
• Temperatures lower than -30 °C
