• The appliance is an underblanket
• State how the blanket is to be secured to the bed.
• The instructions shall specify the appropriate settings of controls for continuous use of the appliance.
• The appliance is only to be used with the control unit: 4655.1.00 that are marked on the appliance
• When not in use, store as follows (see under point 5 Cleaning and storing);
• Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage;
• Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has been
misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again;
• this appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals;
• the appliance is not to be used by young children over the age of three unless the controls have been pre-set by a
parent or guardian, or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to operate the controls safely.

3 | Intended use

The technical safety of this product is assured by its compliance to Europien standards. The safety guidelines in the in-
struction book must be followed. It is however not intended to treat medical conditions. As an added safety measure
against overheating it contanies a temerature sensative sensor cable.
The electric blanket is placed on the mattress and under the sheet. The hand is not as sensitive towards heat as other
body parts. The heat is difficult to determine when touching with your hands, other than the heat pillow.
After 180 minutes it will automaticall shut-off. After the control unit for the heat pad is removed, it can be washed up
to 30°.
It is not designed for use with animals. Inappropriate use can damage the surface of the blanket and the fixing of the
heating wires. If damaged, the blanket must not be used anymore. In this case please contact the service hotline.
Caution: If you feel unwell or suffer any kind of injury, you must consult your doctor.

4 | Start-up

If this device is stored near freezing, allow it to acclimate to room temperature before use.

Place the unit's mains plug into wall outlet. The Electric Blanket
Installing or replacing batteries:

Open battery compartment.

Place two AAA batteries in compartment in correct position. Take note of the correct polarities.

Replace lid, snap into place to close. The item is now ready for use.
Caution!
• To prevent damage from battery leakage, remove them if not used for a longer period of time.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire
• Rechargeable battereries have a slightly lower voltage than standard batteries. This may reduce the possible
functioning time.
• Do not mix new batteries with used, or use batteries of differing types.

4.1 | Operating instructions

Level 0: appliance off
Level 1: minimum heat
Level 2: medium heat
Level 3: maximum heat
Level 4: is the highest heat
• Green light is the lowest and red light is the highest setting
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
• This appliance should only be connected to the AC mains with the voltage given on type sign on the appliance.
• Please don't use it in the bathroom or other place with high humidity.
