Washing and care instructions
Please refer to the washing symbols on the label
sewn into your knee support. Before washing,
please ensure that any velcro fastenings are closed.
Your knee support should be washed separately the
first time (the colour might come out). Your knee
support should be washed every day, if possible.
Please do not use any softener! We recommend us-
ing the mild Juzo Special Detergent for this.
Material composition
Details are provided on the label sewn into your
knee support.
Storage information and shelf life
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. Sup-
ports have a maximum shelf life of 42 months. The
usage period of the medical product is printed on
the box with an hourglass symbol. Body measure-
ments may change based on the patient's condition
and individual circumstances. We therefore recom-
mend that medical specialists check body measure-
ments regularly.
Indications
· Arthrosis in femoro-patellar joint
· Following surgery
· Knee joint distortions and effusions
· Following fractures
· Post-traumatic oedema
· Contusions
· To aid mobilization after prolonged immobility
· Sprains
· Subluxation and dislocation of the patella
· Meniscopathy
Contraindications
If the following symptoms exist, the support should
only be worn after consultation with the physician:
Arterial insufficiency, all forms of varicosity, follow-
ing thrombosis, ulceration, recent or recurring fle-
bothrombosis, permanent oedema of the lower leg.
Skin diseases or skin irritations; Wounds in the treat-
ment area are to be covered with sterile dressings.
A below-knee compression stocking (AD) should
also be worn by elderly patients with a tendency
towards swelling and in conjunction with varicosity.

a result of any contraindicated use of this product.
Side effects
There are no known side effects when used as di-
rected. However, if negative alterations (such as
for example skin irritations) should occur while the
use of our products has been prescribed, please go
to your physician of your specialist dealer immedi-
ately. If an incompatibility should be known against
one or several ingredients of this product, please
check back with your physician before use. If your
medical condition deteriorates while the use of our
products, please go to your physician immediately.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages / injuries
which have been caused by improper handling or
misuse.
In the case of complaints related to this product,
such as damage to the knitted fabric or problems
with the fit, please contact the medical retailer di-
rectly. Only serious incidents that may lead to a ma-
jor deterioration of the patient's medical condition
or to death should be reported to the manufacturer
and the relevant authority in the Member State. Seri-
ous incidents are defined in Article 2 (65) Regulation
(EU) 2017/745 (MDR).
Disposal
Your support can be disposed of through normal
waste channels. No special waste disposal require-
ments apply.
