The Princess Classic Multi Food Slicer is a semi-professional slicer made of cast metal and durable
stainless steel. This appliance is ideal for slicing a range of fresh foods, including meat, cheese and bread.

BEFORE USING

Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Put the plug into the wall socket. Always remember that
this slicer has sharp blades which can cause injury.
Before using for the first time, carefully wipe the whole appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it off.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Place the appliance on a stable surface. Use the thickness setting button to select the right slice thickness.
Place the food to be sliced onto the slide rail so you can use the holder to press it against the stop plate.
Turn the motor on by pressing the on/off switch to the 'l' position. Gently press the food with the holder
against the stop plate while the slide rail is moved to and fro. Do not strain the machine by pressing too
hard. If the motor audibly starts running more slowly you are pressing too hard. The slicer is supplied
with a serrated knife. The blades can easily be changed by loosening the screw lock with a screwdriver or
coin. You can then fit the desired blade onto the appliance before tightening the screw lock again.
Please note: Always use the holder to press the food against the stop plate and never attempt to do it by
hand alone or with any other object. This may cause injury or damage to the appliance. This usually
means that the last piece of food cannot be sliced as it is too small to be used on the appliance.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE
IN WATER!
Clean the appliance after each time that you use it. Clean the outside with a damp cloth.
The loose components should be cleaned in warm water with washing-up liquid and then
rinsed with clean water from the tap. Do not use any sharp metal objects or corrosive
substances on the machine or its parts. If the machine is very dirty the blade can be removed
by loosening the screw lock with a coin. Make sure you handle the blade with care!
Damage to the blade is not covered by the warranty conditions.
