7. Secure the black box on the T-Connector to the vehicle
within the access port using a cable tie or foam tape
(provided).
8. Route the T-Connector ends with the green wire along
the threshold to the right (passenger) side of the vehicle.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 using the connectors with the green
wire.
9. Confirm correct operation with a test light or by using a
trailer.
10. Restore the interior trim panels removed in step 3 to
their original positions, taking care not to pinch any wires.
11. Replace the threshold trim panel using the screws
removed in step 2 over the green wire, being careful not to
damage or pinch the wire.
Note: Some vans manufactured in early 2000 may
be wired in a manner where the trailer brake lights
will illuminate when the tail lights are turned on.
